This was a test to see how well my injection system works. The test worked well until the it ran out of PE plastic because the machine can not hold that much in the barrel. The mould has 3 parts, the first is the body which hold it all together. The next is the silicon rubber insert which is moulded from a part and is inserted into the body to holds its shape. The last is the top which is inserted into the body to keep the plastic from coming out and to hold the part. The silicon rubber insert is made by pushing it on the top and inserting it into the body with a mix of unset silicon rubber inside it. After the rubber is set the part is removed and injection can take place.
